Red Chair Virtual Circle: Emotions are Information
Starts Monday, October 19th.
As we continue on this journey called life, each and every day, we think and we feel. Through my equine coaching studies and as I begin my coaching with horses practice, I am choosing to practice what I invite clients to do. Use emotions as information.
Depending on our conditioning, how we were raised, how other people in our life influenced us, we have our own, unique experiences and views about different emotions. Some feel good and we like to experience them, like happiness. Some emotions do not feel good, like sadness or anger or fear, and we would prefer not to feel them.
All of our emotions have valuable information to share with us. And when we are courageous, when we acknowledge our sadness, or our anger, or our fear and welcome the information it gives us, we use our head and our heart to make decisions. These decisions impact our relationships, which impacts how we influence those around us, at work, at home, with friends and in our community.
On October 19th over four bi-weekly, two-hour, virtual sessions, we will explore some of our emotions and the information they provide us. These facilitated conversations are not meant as therapy. They are meant to expand our understanding of emotions and how they can help us. And yes, you may find it therapeutic.

It is when we have the courage to look within that we can truly lead ourselves and others.
